A Bear Walking

Leonardo drew this bear around 1482–85 in silverpoint, a technique using a metal stylus on specially prepared paper. It is one of his finest animal studies, capturing the heavy, rolling gait of the animal in a few precise lines.
Where to hang it: A favourite for a study or a gift for an animal lover; pairs well with the Hollar skull studies.
